Meet Our Staff:
Technicians
Kristin Smith
Lead Technician

I have always enjoyed being surrounded by animals. Ever since i was a little girl I have always toted some kind of creature around with me. I was always bringing the strays in the neighborhood home and begging my mom to let me keep them. Of course she would tell me no, but she would eventually give in. Not much has changed since then. I still want to bring them all home. I have always wanted to work with animals, and in 1997 that dream came true. Here I am, loving what I do. I can honestly say I will do this for as long as I possibly can. Here at the Alvin Animal Clinic I am the lead technician as well as the inventory manager. We have a great team here, and i couldn't see myself working anywhere else. However, I also enjoy some activities outside of work. My fiance and I are huge baseball fans. We also like to get in the car on lazy Sundays and just drive around until we get lost (or find a stray).
From the entire staff here at Alvin Animal Clinic, we can't wait to meet you and your four legged babies.
Raquel Sandoval
Kennel Manager

I am very quiet, but have my crazy moments. I chose to work at the vet clinic because I love working with animals and enjoy taking care of them. When I'm not working, I like to just relax with a few friends and watch TV I have a beautiful young Pitbull of my own named Roxy, and my mother has a crazy black German Shephard that is very loving.
Ben Bratton, CVA

I have worked in the veterinary field since 2004 and have loved every minute of it. I love all animals and will always do what I can to help them even on my days off and vacations. My interests include fishing, hunting, Texas A&M football, my wife and son, and can't forget my dog, Aggie.
Katie Wallis, CVA

I am a proud veterinary technician at Alvin Animal Clinic. I love animals of all shape, sizes, colors, and breeds. I find my work wonderfully exciting and a great opportunity to meet great people and great pets. I have had dogs, cats, horses and even peacocks in my own life as a pet owner. I have found a great home here at Alvin Animal Clinic and plan to further my education as a veterinary technician. I've graduated high school and plan to use my knowledge I've gained to further my career as a certified veterinary technician. Wherever life takes me, animals are sure to be a part of it!
Desi Garcia, CVA

I am a senior in high school and the second oldest of seven children. I have lived in Alvin all of my life, but after high school I plan on attending the University of Houston to pursue a degree in pre-veterinary studies. My goal is to attend a university to pursue my life time goal of becoming a veterinarian. I am a very responsible person and will do everything in my power to keep your animals safe and attend to all of their needs during their stay at Alvin Animal Clinic. Hope to see you there soon! |
